A family vineyard in tune with nature.
Prouillac Vineyard, a family estate with a passion for the art of viticulture.
Rooted in Le Mayne for six generations, our family tends our vines with unwavering passion. Our transition to Organic and Biodynamic farming in 2013 ensures the true authenticity of our wines. We cherish direct contact with our customers to share our terroir’s story and the sincere fruit of our labor.
The Story of Prouillac Vineyard
Founded over 150 years ago, our estate is driven by a family passion passed down through six generations. Based in Sigoulès-et-Flaugeac, we cultivate our terroir using organic and biodynamic methods, with a special focus on biodiversity and agroforestry. Our goal: to produce authentic wines, born from a respect for the land and our family craftsmanship.
A Winemaking Legacy Through Generations
For six generations, my family has cultivated this land with dedication, and I am proud to carry on this legacy
Farming organically and biodynamically is a natural choice for me: it is how I respect our unique terroir.
Every day, I tend to our vines with care, convinced that small details make great wines.
Our agroforestry practices revitalize our soils and strengthen the estate’s natural balance.
With every bottle, I share a family story and a passion passed down from generation to generation
"A rich terroir, shaped by the climate.
"Our vineyard thrives in the heart of the Périgord Pourpre, in Sigoulès-et-Flaugeac, on soils of great diversity: clay-loam, clay-limestone, and flint. This natural mosaic gives our vines unique depth and minerality, allowing the grapes to express the full richness of the terroir.
The oceanic climate of southern Bergerac, characterized by sunny summers and regular rainfall, creates an ideal environment for ripening grapes. The presence of clay is a real asset during drier summers: it retains moisture, helping the vines withstand periods of heat
Here, every parcel tells a story. The terroir, combined with a generous, balanced climate and meticulous work in the cellar, gives rise to authentic, elegant wines that remain true to the identity of Prouillac Vineyard.
